Here are things to bring to your session and a few tips. Don't worry if you forget, I'll provide a Senior Portrait Guide with all of the details.
Hair
Be sure to get your hair cut prior to your session. When styling your hair, I would suggest nothing drastic from your normal appearance.
Clothing
For studio and outdoor sessions, I would recommend long sleeves. It keeps the focus on your face and not your arms. If you're a dancer or have a hobby where you prefer your arms are seen, no worries. Wear solid colors, no patterns. Bring plenty of outfits for changing, I do not require a limit as long as we work within your time. I want to maximize your camera time as much as possible. Be sure to iron all items. I'll provide an iron if needed for studio sessions. I also carry a portable changing room for outdoor sessions.
Nails
I would recommend having your nails trimmed and polished.
Make-Up
Wear make-up that bring out your eyes. Be careful with mascara the clumps. I work with a professional make-up artist if needed.
Graduation Sessions (3 poses):
Females: Include (1) cap, gown, tassel & signet with year charm; (2) black drape; and (3) one casual pose. I would recommend wearing a strapless bra or pulling your straps down when wearing the drape. Bring along a nice set of pearls or necklace to add a nice touch.
Males: Include (1) cap, gown, tassel & signet with year charm; (2) tuxedo (shirt, bow tie and black jacket; and (3) one casual pose. Please wear or bring a t-shirt or undershirt for the tuxedo shirt.
Please note: I'll provide the cap, gown, tassel, signet, black drape, tuxedo shirt, bow tie and jacket.
